PIPE ASSEMBLY STATIONS

RED ROCK pipe assembly stations or growing lines, in conjunction with our fit-up systems, currently provide the most effective way of assembling individual pipe segments into complete tower or container structures. The main areas of application are the construction of wind tower and offshore foundation elements, such as jackets or monopiles.

The ability to adjust all axes (X, Y and Z) under load by motor reduces the time required to align the individual pipe sections to a minimum. Due to the continuous further transport in the longitudinal axis, the assembly takes place from one end side.

RED ROCK systems have been used by leading manufacturers worldwide for many years.

Advantages:

  • Enormous time savings by simply aligning the individual segments
  • Massive savings in crane hours
  • Up to 1,000t load capacity thanks to freely configurable system structure
  • Very flat design enables the processing of larger pipe diameters
  • Pipe diameters from 3 to 10m, individual shot weights up to 100t
  • Modularly expandable to a total component length of up to 105m
  • Processing of conical tubes is also possible
  • Robust system design through the use of European control technology and hydraulic components
  • Purchase, rent, hire purchase or even leasing
